What We Offer

New layout or new finishes

Some kitchens need a new plan: a wall opened to the living room, an island, the sink or range moved. Others have a layout that works and need new cabinets, counters, tile, and lighting. We help you decide which, and price it line by line.

Islands, cabinetry, and built-ins

Islands are where most kitchens gain the most, with seating, storage, and work space in one piece. We build islands, pantry walls, and built-ins that fit the room, coordinate the countertops and appliances, and run the plumbing and wiring the new plan needs.

Cape Cod Know-How

Planning a kitchen remodel

  • Order before demolition

Cabinets, counters, and appliances are ordered before we start demolition, so you are not without a kitchen while you wait on deliveries.

  • Opening a wall

If a wall comes out, it comes out with the right beam, sized for the load, and a building permit.

  • Plumbing and gas location

Keeping the sink and the range where they are keeps the cost down. Moving them is possible, with licensed trades and permits.

  • Lighting and circuits

Modern kitchens need more circuits than older Cape houses were wired for. We plan the electrical with the layout.

Questions

Kitchen Remodeling FAQ

How much does a kitchen remodel cost on Cape Cod?

Cabinets, countertops, and appliances drive most of the budget, followed by layout changes. Keeping plumbing and gas lines where they are keeps the cost down. We price the job line by line after a visit.

Do I need a permit to remodel a kitchen in Massachusetts?

Usually, yes. Plumbing, gas, and electrical work need permits pulled by licensed tradespeople, and removing walls or other structural changes need a building permit. Replacing a countertop alone usually does not.

Can you remove a wall to open up my kitchen?

In most cases, yes. If the wall carries load, we size a beam for it, get the building permit, and support the structure while the wall comes out.

Do you build custom cabinets?

Yes. Custom cabinetry and built-ins are one of our services, so the island, a pantry wall, or a hutch can be built to fit the room.

Which towns do you remodel kitchens in?

All 15 towns of Barnstable County: Barnstable, Bourne, Brewster, Chatham, Dennis, Eastham, Falmouth, Harwich, Mashpee, Orleans, Provincetown, Sandwich, Truro, Wellfleet, and Yarmouth.
